The Dead Sea Guardians are a global movement of people dedicated to preserving, protecting, and restoring the Dead Sea.
Our vision is a healthy and thriving Dead Sea serving as an engine for regional stability and prosperity.

The inspiration for the movement began in 2016, when founder Oded Rahav embarked upon the world’s first swim across the Dead Sea. Oded’s love for this sacred body of water inspired him to launch a transnational movement for the betterment of both the sea, and the people of the region. Since then, Dead Sea Guardians have attracted top minds across varied industries all with one collective aim – to preserve the sea for future generations.

The Dead Sea Guardians is a not-for-profit organization, incorporated in Israel as a Public Benefit Society and registered in the US as a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible charitable organization.
