Oded Rahav
FOUNDER AND CEO
Entrepreneur, environmental activist, long-distance world-record swimmer. Oded fell in love with the Dead Sea after initiating the historical first swimming across it in 2016 with a group of swimmers from around the world. A Guinness record. In 2022 Oded established the Dead Sea Guardians organization and has dedicated his life to saving the Dead Sea.
Dr. Eyal Hulata
CO-CHAIRS
Former National Security Advisor and Head of Israel’s National Security Council from 2021-2023. He also served in the Israeli intelligence establishment, of which a decade was spent in senior executive roles. He is currently a senior international fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies.

Acting CEO of the “Hoffman Kofman” Foundation and personally oversees every leadership program initiated by the Foundation. He has extensive experience and proven results in Management, Business Development, M&A and Sales and is committed to bringing together a strong commercial business approach together with Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence.

Barbara Krystal is a Marine Biologist, Author, and Teacher of Blue Humanities. She is also the curator for the Art of Water online exhibition. Barbara is an intricate member of the Guardians, providing ideas for programming, building connections and other much-needed thought processes and resources.
Nathan Japhet
Nathan manages our social media and communications in English.
He works as a Business Development Manager in IQVIA Israel and was previously a business development analyst at Agrematch. With his love and desire to preserve Israeli nature and specifically the Dead Sea, Nathan works relentlessly to save it for future generations to come, including his own children.
